Advisory Boards to City Council
The City of Woodcreek has several volunteer Advisory Boards.
- Hotel Occupancy Tax Committee (H.O.T.)
- Infrastructure and Mobility Panel
- Ordinance Review Committee
- Parks and Recreation Board
- Planning and Zoning Commission
- Tree Board
The Hotel Occupancy Tax Committee will advise the City Council on initiating and administration of the proposed Hotel Occupancy Tax, including aspects of collecting and spending the funds received. The committee will meet monthly or as needed to provide timely and thorough recommendations to the Council.
The Infrastructure and Mobility Panel is responsible for the City's road maintenance, drainage and pedestrian mobility.
The Ordinance Review Committee is responsible for amending, creating, editing, and rescinding City ordinances. All ordinance change recommendations are subject to the approval of the City Council.
The Parks and Recreation Board is responsible for matters pertaining to City parks and recreation areas.
The Planning and Zoning Commission is responsible for zoning changes, as well as approval of any planning related item(s).
The Tree Board is responsible for the protection and promotion of trees in our city and the extraterritorial jurisdiction, including our heritage and street trees.
