New Residential Construction Application

  7. Zoning and Ordinance Requirements*
    • Any damage to the street will be the owner's responsibility to repair.
    • All inspections will be scheduled with the city via email at Inspections@woodcreektx.gov.
    • Provide city with a form survey prior to foundation pour.
    • Certification letter for Foundation Pre-Pour Inspection by Design Engineer to be delivered to the City prior to issuance of CO.
    • Passing report for 2015 IECC Compliance inspection from third-party to be delivered to the City prior to issuance of CO.
    • Hard-surface driveway with minimum of 3-20'x10' parking spaces (§156.059).
    • 2-car enclosed garage (minimum 400 sq. ft. of parking area – 20'x 20') (§156.062(B)(1)(c)).
    • Outside light fixtures will conform with §156.041.
    • Construction trash bin is required and must be placed outside of the City ROW. Minimum size is 4'x4'x4'.
    • Portable toilets are required and must be placed outside of the City ROW.
    • All construction must be in accordance with IRC 2015.
  8. Application Fees*
    • Upon application completion, City Hall will issue a permit number with instructions for fee payment.
    • Application Fee- $1000
    • Plan Review Fee- $100
    • Inspection Fee- $75/each (including reinspections)
    • All fees must be paid in full for final permit to be approved and issued.
  9. Required Acknowledgements*

    • All construction, landscaping, and construction-related activities are limited to Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Construction work on Sundays and City holidays is not allowed.(§ 151.10) 
    • Residential structure construction shall begin within 30 days of permit.  Construction must be completed within 2 months of the issuance of the permit. (§ 151.10)  
    • Property owners agree to notify Texas 811 at least 48 hours (2 working days) before starting any excavation work.  
    • The applicant acknowledges that the City of Woodcreek is not responsible for the enforcement, investigation, or analysis of existing deed restrictions or restrictive covenants that may impose more restrictive land use regulations upon the property.
    • To VISIBLY display permit while work is ongoing.
    • All inspections must be passed, any outstanding fees paid, and a Final Survey must be provided before the Certificate of Occupancy will be issued.
  10. Electronic Signature Agreement*
