Woodcreek Clean-Up Efforts - Revised 02/20/2023, 12:30PM

*** OFFICIAL CITY of WOODCREEK COMMUNICATIONS ***

Dear Neighbors,

Please read the entire message, as there is information for the City of Woodcreek residents, Woodcreek ETJ residents and Woodcreek North residents.

A.  CITY OF WOODCREEK RESIDENTS

Clean-Up Initiatives that have been developed at Woodcreek City Hall:

1. In coordination with Hays County, residents who are able, can drop off brush at the Hays County Transfer Station, located at 1691 Carney Lane, Wimberley, Texas, from 8A-4P Mon-Fri, excluding holidays.  This option will be available until March 1, 2023.

2. ALL of the City's streets will be cleared.  There is no definitive schedule from our vendors, as some streets take longer than others to clear.  Please be patient as our vendors are working hard to clean up our City.

          a. Waste Connections dispatched their LARGE trucks last week and began the pick-up of the "Community Brush Piles", starting with the major thoroughfares.  To date, a total of 57 loads of brush and limbs have been collected.    SMALLER Waste Connection trucks are also being deployed to clear the cul-de-sacs and heavily blocked streets.

          b.  A secondary vendor has been hired to collect the "Community Brush Piles" that were stacked under trees, due to limited frontage property space.  They will pick up the piles that the Waste Connections trucks could not reach.

3.  The City's Rights of Way vendors continue to work in their respective areas:

      a.  The Bush Barber;         b.  Healthy Oak Trees;         c.  Tex Star Trees and Landscaping;       d.  Simple Leaf Tree Care

4.  For our walkers and runners, please be aware that the City's park areas remain closed, as limbs are still falling.  Please DO NOT move the sawhorses that have been placed in these areas.

5.  The City's email address for Woodcreek residents who are in need of assistance cutting or clearing their properties is still in operation.  Please email Assistance@WoodcreekTX.gov with your name, address and contact number.

6.  If you would like to volunteer to be part of the City's Clean-Up Crew assisting residents who are unable to clear their properties, please email Assistance@WoodcreekTX.gov with your name and contact information.
