Celebrating Our Winning Ways!

Dear Woodcreekers,

It has been an honor to serve as your Mayor for the 2019 – 2021 term. We have weathered an extraordinary number of challenges as the city, county, state and country have been responding to an unprecedented worldwide pandemic, as well as civil unrest and economic, social and personal hardships. Through it all, our community has stepped up to meet the needs of our neighbors, friends and family. It has been my pleasure to work alongside our city manager, staff, councilmembers and many citizen volunteers to represent all the citizens in a fair, honest and competent exercise of our duties and responsibilities.

Please join with me in a review of a very long list of the activities and accomplishments of your city government. As we look back on the last two years, we can identify areas of success, as well as areas for improvement. We can see the many goals set and met. We can acknowledge the vision of the future of our city and have the groundwork for moving forward. We are grateful for the dedication of citizen volunteers who have been invaluable in the activities and accomplishments that we are celebrating.

Address the unprecedented health and safety challenges we faced
Enhance community engagement communications
Offer opportunities for citizen input in policy decisions

Working together, we were successful in weathering external and, sadly, internal storms. Together we endured hardships and overcame numerous obstacles, often beyond our control. City operations, meetings and duties continued without interruption throughout. Together we are enjoying health, safety and an enhanced sense of community as we navigate forward with Woodcreek Winning Ways.
