Celebrate Earth Day with us on April 22, 2023!!

Hello Woodcreekers!!

Come celebrate Earth Day with us on Saturday, April 22, 2023 for a City-Wide spruce-up from 8:30A-1:30P!!

8:30AM - Gather at the Triangle (Woodcreek Drive at Brookhollow Drive) for breakfast snacks and Earth Day education, then select an area where you would like to volunteer:
     Augusta Park (Augusta Drive and Augusta Lane):   Help our Parks Board with 2023 Winter Event Tree Clean-Up:
     Veterans Park (Woodcreek Drive and RR 12):   General Clean-Up and Planting; 
     Dam and Pond (between the Golf Course and Cypress Point):   General Clean-Up and Brush Clearing;
     Triangle:   Members of the Tree Board will have a canopy set up for anyone who wants to learn more about tree care;
     Triangle:   Donation of a drinking fountain by Craig Blanchette from Aqua America.

1:00PM - Gather at the Triangle for hotdogs grilled by City Manager, Kevin Rule to celebrate clean-up efforts in our City.

If you can't join us, celebrate at home by plating native plants in your yard or gather friends and neighbors to spruce up an area near you.
