Declared Disasters – COVID and Winter Storm Uri
- Mayor Declared State of Emergency – 1st City in Hays County
- City Hall Transitioned to Remote and Digital Services
- Added Remote Credit Card Capability
- Implemented Live-stream Video for City Meetings
- Moved In-Person Meetings to Camp Young Judaea to Facilitate Social Distancing
- Worked with FEMA, TDEM and Volunteers to Provide Respite Care for First Responders at Camp Young Judaea
- Supported Quicksand Golf Course in Meeting CDC Guidelines while Staying Open for Health and Recreation
- Daily Health Communications, including COVID-testing and Vaccination Information
- Morale Boosting Mask-Cot Campaign and Stand United Flag Campaign
- Water Distribution, Electronic Communications, Coordination with Neighbor Volunteers to Assist with Resident Health and Safety during Winter Storm Uri
- Emergency Response Assessments

- Implemented New User-friendly Website, including Interactive Capabilities to Send and Receive Email Communications
